Actually, I installed everything by myself. I bought this product for my home internet access, it worked perfectly, great signal, great speed. I highly recommend it. Step by Step. Get it, don't think about it, the value is way higher than the price.
The device didn't last 4 minutes of continuous operation.Pros:- Low price- Easy setupCons:- Unreliable connection- Low range (sitting your computer or mobile device right next to it may work) - Sensitive to interference from other wireless devices such as Cordless phones.- Poor troubleshooting documentation

You are forced to buy the software that comes with it to use any features, what comes with it is a trial version and when it expires you get some features but non stop nag screens and I suspect malware.amazon, I'm veru disapointed your write up did not mention this. first it has problems 10 feet away wireless, constantly going offline and online. I have had it two months and have not had 5 straight days that I haven't had to fix something. I will not buy the software, I will buy another router and count this as a lesson learned. This is the worst product I ever bought from amazon.
The next evening I got an email from her that said "Woohoo, I'm a functioning idiot.". She had tried to configure the WiFi set up that came with her modem and neither one of us could figure what the heck was wrong. I purchased this router for my daughter who lives in another city. She said she had it installed and running in less than 1 hour, and it was running great. So I told her when she was ready, I could walk her through the set up over the phone. I have an Associates Degree in Computer Technology with all the Cisco Labs completed, so I figured this could be an all-nighter coaching someone who never set up ANY network. I suggested she pull in the signal for security (she lives on a corner)and so far, everything is working fine. I am satisfied with this product.
